WINNERS !!

Nick & Mark travelled across to Melbourne to the 6th annual Wineslinger Awards came home with the Maverick Award - one of only four national trophies!

A big thanks to all our team as this award is for everyone at the club, including all of you, our customers. It’s for doing things a bit different and it really embodies our whole philosophy of doing amazing things in a casual setting and having as much fun as possible.

In the words of the judges, “Aldinga’s Silver Sands Beach Club, on the shores of the McLaren Vale wine region, has taken out the Maverick. It’s a wine bar/restaurant in a surf club, where you can find chicken nuggets on the menu next to $1,000 bottles of wine. Not that expensive wines are what defines the experience – but that juxtaposition of elements connects to the spirit of the Maverick award.”
